The Thanksgiving Offering for the Social Welfare fund has given over $2 million in grants to worthy projects throughout the world since 1981.

The BCA Social Welfare Fund was established to aid those suffering from deprivations of basic human needs, certainly the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, as well as, the earthquake in Mexico have been suffering mightily and the BCA Welfare Fund has provided a donation of $30,000 to support those in suffering. In addition, since the beginning of the year, the Social Welfare Fund has provided $5,000 to a bag lunch program for children in need in Livermore and $5,000 to a homeless women’s meal program in Chicago, and there are several requests pending review. While you will receive the annual Thanksgiving solicitation letter in November, you may donate now to the BCA Social Welfare Fund.

Money from the BCA member assessment do not support the Social Welfare Fund; the Social Welfare Fund is a result of the compassionate dana of BCA members and Friends. Please help.
