Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii
With roots that extend back to 1889, Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii began as a spiritual and cultural center of Japanese immigrant life, growing into one of Hawaii’s most influential religious communities. Today they offer Shin Buddhist spiritual growth, learning, and service to the community through temples, schools, volunteers, and charitable organizations across the state of Hawaii.


Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples of Canada
JSBTC was first established in 1905 and is comprised of twelve temples: Montreal, Toronto, Hamilton, Winnipeg, BTSA (Lethbridge), Calgary, Vernon, Kelowna, Kamloops, Fraser Valley, Vancouver and Steveston.

JSBTC is the connection among the temples in Canada and with other Jodo Shinshu temples internationally. While there are regional groupings of temples, the JSBTC in the only formal way in which temples can meet and share across the country.
