Yoga & The Three Treasures
A Workshop Series with Instructor Bob Matsueda & Special Guests
An introduction to Yoga history, philosophy; meditation, chanting, mantras, breathing techniques; movements (asanas) relaxation techniques for stress, anxiety, sleep, diet and lifestyle choices.

Yoga is not a religion itself, but a spiritual tradition that encompasses many of India’s religions, including Buddhism.
The Buddha: Shakyamuni Buddha practiced Yoga techniques as a means to attain enlightenment and his revolutionary way of looking at the world.
The Dharma: The goals of Buddhism and Yoga are to eliminate suffering and attain Universal Oneness.
The Sangha: Yoga can support and grow the Sanghas at all temples through practices for all members of any age and physical condition for mental, physical and spiritual health. A healthy mind and body facilitates opening up to the Dharma. Plus it is a fun activity while making friends of all ages.
This workshop series has been made possible by CBE and the Dharma Forward Foundation.
