​​The Inspiration Behind Techno Hoyo
As Shin Buddhists, we often envision and speak of Nirvana through the idea of the Amida Buddha's Pure Land. Our traditional altars and the melodies of chanting (shomyo) have been descended through generations by many Buddhists before us with the best techniques back in the time. Rev. Gyosen Asakura introduced the Techno Hoyo experience as an experiment to visualize the Buddha's Pure Land with the latest technologies, and to engage audiences in experiencing Buddhist teachings in a new, mind-opening way.​
