Giving Back to the Next Generation
Created in 1929, the Zaidan Fund was established with the intention of providing ongoing funding to the sanghas of the Buddhist Churches of America. It is an endowment fund managed by the BCA Endowment Foundation to ensure the growth, sustainability, and promotion of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism in America.

Over the years, growth of the endowment through investment return and charitable giving has enabled BCA to provide scholarships, teach and support ministers, launch new programs, purchase the JSC, and support a wide range of important needs.
