Sacramento Launches Donation Drive for Angelica Bravo’s Family

The Buddhist Church of Sacramento is collecting donations for the benefit of the family of Angelica Bravo, the granddaughter of a longstanding Sangha member.

Bravo, 28, was found dead in her Sacramento home on July 8.

Her two youngest children were reported missing at the time.

Detectives believe the children’s father, Camron Lee, drove off with 4-year-old Athena Lee and 2-year-old Mateo Lee. His car was spotted crossing the Mexican border. The cause of Bravo’s death is pending an autopsy.

In the spirit of Obon, the temple has created a donation drive in memory of Bravo to help the family in their time of need.

There is also a QR code posted with this article for donations.

All donations collected in memory of Bravo will be presented to the family from the Buddhist Church of Sacramento community.
